I have admired my Aunt Judy all of my life. As a Navy wife, she moved multiple times, established the "beach head" for her family while Uncle Larry served in various ports of call. Judy was strong, resilient and sometimes stubborn .... in a good way. In recent years, we had a ritual when we saw each other. I would kiss her right cheek, then her left. I saw her last weekend for the 70th wedding anniversary party for her and Larry. I said, "I want my two kisses." She smiled and said, "I was waiting for them." I will remember her for the smile and twinkle in her eyes. And, her strength, resilience and devotion to her family. Rest in Peace, Aunt Judy.
