James M. "Jim" Walberry, age 83, of Galena, OH passed away peacefully March 11, 2025 at home. Business owner. Graduate of Linden McKinley High School and Otterbein College. Survived by his sons, Scott and Gary Walberry; grandchildren, Madison and Owen; sister, Diana (Mike) Mickelson of Granville, OH; nephew, Andy Mickelson; niece, Laura Kretchmar; longtime friend, Nancy Campbell. Preceded in death by his wife, Barb; parents, Robert and Laura Walberry. Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday, March 19th from 5-8 p.m., and Thursday, March 20th, 10-11 a.m. at the Harlem Road United Methodist Church, 5520 Harlem Road, Galena, OH 43021 followed by a service at 11 a.m.., Pastor Bud Leskovac, officiating. Interment Fancher Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, make contributions to the Harlem Road United Methodist Church.

Remembering many days playing tennis ball baseball in Jim's driveway with Scott and Gary as a teenager. Jim was always good to the neighbor kids and will be missed by his family and friends. God Bless Jim and the family!

Heartbreaking to hear of this news. Jimmy was such a good friend and father figure for me and my brother. Jimmy was one of those guys you could talk to him about anything without judgement. His family means the world to me and I will keep both Gary and Scott in my thoughts and prayers. Love to all the family as they process this loss.
