Joseph O'Brien, 39, of Westerville passed away February 10, 2025, at his home in Columbus. He was born December 6, 1985, in Westerville the son of the late Nicol Zimmerman.
Joseph was a graduate of Bowling Green University, worked as a Marketing Specialist and was a Christian by faith. He loved music and was an avid sports fan, especially football, and enjoyed bodybuilding and weightlifting.
He is survived by his grandfather, Thomas Neil O'Brien; Aunt and Uncle, Linda and Gregory Zimmerman all of Westerville, and several cousins.
In addition to his mother, Joseph was preceded in death by his grandmother, Doris Jean O'Brien.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. on Monday, February 17, 2025, at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH where a memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. with Fr. Michael Haemmerley officiating. Burial will conclude in the Blendon Central Cemetery in Westerville at a later date.
