Glenn Rudicil of Middletown, Ohio, passed away on October 28 in Middletown. He was born on October 26, 1932 in Middletown to Everett and Mabel Rudicil. Glenn was preceded in death by his first wife of 61 years, Mona Fridenmaker Rudicil, on March 22, 2013, and his daughter, Julia Brady. He is survived by his wife, Audrey (Burnett) Rudicil, whom he married on November 2, 2013. Glenn also leaves behind his children, Joel Rudicil (Rhonda), Janet Custer (Curt), and Jennifer Pereira (Jeremy), as well as his stepchildren, Michael Burnett, David (Kathy) Burnett, and Jennifer Esselman (John). He is remembered by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Glenn and Mona resided in Westerville with their four children. After Monas passing, Glenn returned to Middletown, where he reconnected with Audrey, a high school acquaintance. They lived in Middletown and Bradenton, Florida, for most of their 11 years together. Glenn was passionate about his faith, family, friends, and his work as an Electrical Engineer, having graduated from Ohio State University (GO BUCKS!). He loved sports, participating in basketball, baseball, and golf teams for many years. Family vacations in Michigans Upper Peninsula were a yearly highlight.
Services will be held on Saturday, November 2nd at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 Schrock Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081, with visitation at noon and the service at 1 pm, officiated by Pastor Brad Jury. Burial will follow at Westerville-Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be gifted to First Baptist Church of Springboro, 80 Greenwood Lane Springboro, OH 45066.
