Gerd Egon Ernst Paul Papritz- born December 22nd, 1952, in Stockerau, Austria, passed away peacefully at home on July 8th , 2024 at the age of 71 in Westerville, OH. Preceded in death by son, Kristian Papritz, and parents, Helmut and Gerda Papritz. Survived by wife, of 44 years, Penny Papritz; daughter, Hannah Papritz, and sister, Renee Papritz. He was a graduate of Denison University where he earned a Bachelors Of Economics (1974), and an MBA from Xavier University, (1980). He was employed by JP Morgan Chase for 36 years as an Investment Advisor. He was an avid Cleveland Sports Fan, Tennis watcher, and lover of music and action films. He will live in the hearts of those he is survived by and those he impacted during his life.
A memorial will be held on Saturday, July 20th, 2024 at Moreland Funeral Home. Calling hours begin at 11 am, followed by a memorial service at 12pm. In leu of flowers, please make a donation in Gerd's name to W.A.R.M (Westerville Area Resource Ministry). https://warmwesterville.org/donate

Dear Penny, Hannah and Renee! I was deeply saddened by the news of Gerd’s passing and wanted to take this opportunity to give you my sincere condolences. Just watched the video with the lovely photos of Gerd with his family and friends and was very touched. I wish you all strength and comfort in this difficult time.
