Harold J. Sinder of Westerville, passed away May 15th, 2024. He was born in Champaign, Illinois on December 14th, 1931.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Sinder (Davis) and brother, Charles Sinder.
He is survived by his children, Michael Sinder and Jennifer (Carl) Neer, his beloved grandchildren, Macy Dow, Carly Dow, Kaitlin (Phillip) Carlier and Jack Neer as well as his special friend and companion, Mary Farley.
Harold graduated from the University of Illinois in June 1953. One week later he married Patricia Davis and moved to Inglewood California where he began his career with North American Aviation as an Aerodynamicist and Engineer. In 1959 he moved to Ohio and worked for Rockwell International for 35 yrs. After his retirement from Rockwell International he worked as the Chief Engineer at Nationwide Children's Hospital for 15 years. After his second retirement, he worked as a tax preparer for H&R Block until he was 87 years old.
He enjoyed his yearly fishing trips to Canada as well as exploring Alaska, cooking and gardening.
His most prized role in life was being "Rolds" and "G" ........ Grandpa.
He leaves us with a large void in our hearts and lives, however we are so grateful to have had such a wonderful man in our lives for so long.
Visitation will be held at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Monday, May 20th from 4pm - 8pm.
Private Burial on Tuesday May 21st at Kingwood Memorial Park.
