Raymond Arthur Fradette, age 89, passed away with his family at his side February 20, 2024, in Westerville, OH. Born in Farmington, CT on September 15, 1934, Ray lived most of his joyful life in Ohio. Ray was privileged to serve his country for four years in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He proudly wore his veteran hat for years. Ray loved to play golf and attending his grandchildren's sporting and musical events. Ray "Papa" was a kind soul to all he met. You could always expect a warm welcome from him with a "Can I get you something?" He loved being a grandfather to his eight grandchildren, Amanda, Meghan, Justin, Zachary, Daniel, Ashley, Joe, Jack and great-grandson, Raymond. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Rosemary; daughter Deborah Fradette (James), son Raymond Fradette Jr. (Shirley) and Robert Fradette (Elizabeth); brothers Don Fradette, Real Fradette (Rose), Maurice Fradette (Sue), and Michael Fradette (Irene). As well as many nieces and nephews. A private family memorial will be planned in the spring to honor Raymond's life.
