Mark Alan Hysell fell into the loving embrace of our merciful Heavenly Father by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 2, 2023. "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints." Psalm 116:15.
Mark was born in Columbus, Ohio on July 29, 1955 to Harold R. Hysell and Enid E. Bare (King). After graduating from Brookhaven High School, Mark served in the United States Air Force. Mark married Mary Jewel Gaylor in August of 1980.
Mark was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Hysell (Gaylor), and his sister Kimberly Ann Hysell. Mark is survived by his two sons, Caleb Hysell (Alexandra) and Nathan Hysell (Jillian), five grandchildren (Ivy, Letty, Cole, Scarlett, and Rhett), and his two brothers, Gary Hysell (Dianne) and Edward Hysell (Nancy).
A funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Westerville at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Visitation will be before the service, beginning at 1 p.m.
