Just returning back to Columbus and I’m so sadden could not attend the services for my dear friend Barbara. I shared an office with her years ago at Coldwell Realty. We remained great friends. She was one of the most loving souls and may she now rest forever in peace.

Joan Gardner - Apr 11, 2023

Barb, Sandra Risinger, and I are Ben and Abbi Risinger’s Grandmothers. Barb was so very proud of all three of her grandchildren and took such joy from their successes and suffered quietly with them and their parents when things got rough. Barb never criticized anyone but admirably kept her opinions to herself. At family gatherings, the first words out of her mouth were, “What can I do to help?” This came right after she gave us her delicious deviled eggs!! Barb is summed up by Saint Paul in his letter to the Corinthians, Chapter 13, Verses 4-8. Verse 8 says: LOVE NEVER FAILS. That truly describes our dearest Grammy, Mom, Barb, Friend. Rest in Peace, Barb.

Barbie was one of the first Realtors I met when I first got my real estate license back in 1992. She was the best and one of my favorites. Heaven definitely gained a special angel. I am going to miss her and her ornery sense of humor.
