September 17, 1940 - March 9, 2023
Dianne Szabo, 82, of Westerville, OH, passed away unexpectedly at her home on March 9, 2023. Born September 17, 1940, she was known by friends and family for her generosity, selflessness and good humor. She retired from Westerville City Schools and spent her summers at Put-in-Bay where she was an active member of the community and close friend to many. She recently moved to Inniswood Village to enjoy the next chapter of her life where she made many friends during her short but fun stay.
She is preceded in death by William "Bill," her husband of 48 years, sister, Vera Goodwin and brothers, Steve and Art Olah. Dianne is survived by her children, Cheryl (Jay) Peoples and Kurt (Bernadett) Szabo, grandchildren, Devon and Dylan Peoples and Marcel Szabo, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A private family ceremony will be held in Columbus, with a celebration of life to be planned at Put-in-Bay.
