Julia Marie Potter passed away peacefully from this life on November 26, 2022, from complications of Alzheimer's Dementia. Born June 7, 1945, in Chester Pennsylvania to the late Robert and Gertrude Esslinger. She was proceeded by both her Brother Charles Esslinger and Sister Roberta Smith, both of Pennsylvania. Julia was the beloved wife of H. Wayne Potter of Genoa Township. Devoted Mother of Stephen Potter of West Chester, Pennsylvania, and Amy Reigel of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

Grandmother of Alex Potter and Morgan Potter of West Chester, Pennsylvania; Madeline Reigel and Brady Reigel of Kennett Square, Pennsylvania; and a nephew and Godson, Robert Smith of Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania.

Julia was a retired Kindergarten teacher and an avid reader of novels and scholarly literature. Although she was not active in the political arena, she did share a deep interest in early childhood education and children's rights. Before Julia was in the grasp of dementia, she frequently traveled to see her family in Pennsylvania and on several overseas trips with her husband of 55 years. Although, she was more comfortable curled up on the sofa with a good book and her Airedale Terrier, Poppy, or on the phone inquiring about the success of her Grandkids.

Julias passing leaves a profound void in the life of her husband and family.

Wayne.... I am so sorry for your loss. Judy is now at peace after suffering with that nasty disease. I pray you will find comfort in your memories.
