We only met Ed a few times when Laurie and Brian were planning their wedding but just thought he was a such a nice man and wonderful husband and father. Laurie was so proud of him. She talked all about him when we first met her. I know she will miss him so much. God rest his soul. He is not suffering now but in Jesus’ arms. God bless Norma, Laurie and Gary

I had the privilege of working with “Eddie” for a number of years at the PD. He always treated others with courtesy and respect whether they were fellow officers, the general public, or people he had arrested. I consider him a mentor as a police officer and in life. My prayers are with his family, my thoughts are with my brother, Ed.

Frank and Becky Felker - Oct 25, 2022

It was an honor and a Blessing to have worked with “ET” all the years we worked together on the Police Department. After we both retired, we kept in touch. When I would visit Ohio, we would always have coffee at Tim Hortons then visit the PD. We even met with him and Norma at Daytona Beach one year. He was so fun to be around. I will miss him and our phone conversations . God has a special man in 💙Blue with him in Heaven. Norma , Laurie and family, may God grant you strength during this difficult time and may the memories of “ET” bring you smiles. Love, Frank and Becky

I had the privilege of working with Ed for several years. He always seemed to have a positive attitude and rarely was in a bad mood which says a lot about the kind of guy he was considering the line of work we were in. My condolences go out to his family. I’m sure he’ll be missed. Rest in peace brother!
