Johnny William Woodrow McNamee, age 47, of Columbus, Ohio passed away peacefully at Kobacker House on Saturday September 3, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born October 29, 1974. Survived by his wife, Darla McNamee; mother, Karan Wider; father, Anthony Wider; sisters, Carmen Woods (Steve), Carrie Rollison (Jeff), Cali Wider (Seth) and nephew, Tristan Joseph TJ Emanoff. Preceded in death by his biological father, Larry McNamee, Sr. and brother Larry McNamee, Jr.., and his beloved fur babies Huey and MayMay which he loved with all his heart. Johnny and Darla met in October 1999. They were married on April 21, 2014. Johnny and Darla were soulmates and best friends and had a love like no other. Johnny was the only boy sibling. He was always surrounded by us girls. We cant imagine what he must have thought putting up with 3 sisters and a momma every single day. But he was always our bubby and he kept us laughing no matter what. Johnny had many friends in which he called family. He never met a stranger. He was always the light of the party and always loved to have friends around. He was funny, energetic, kind, caring, and a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend. Johnny adored his beloved fur baby dogs Huey and MayMay, who crossed the rainbow bridge and his beloved fur baby cats Archie and Henry, all who loved him unconditionally. Johnny will be missed by many and forgotten by no one. We love you Johnny to the moon and back. Friends and family are welcome to visit on Friday September 9, 2022 at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E Schrock Rd, Westerville, Ohio from 5pm 7pm. No Services or burial will be performed.

Condolences

Valerie Binns - Sep 9, 2022

Johnny became our friend when we were young. We all went to high school together, and carried on for years afterwards. My husband and I were saddened to learn Johnny has passed on. We shared many good times and unforgettable memories. Johnny was a very generous person, amazingly hilarious (to the point he had you crying) and a person of deep thought. My heart especially goes out to his wife, mom, dad, and his sisters. He will be missed and thought of with fondness. -Valerie & Scott Binns
