Sheila Ann Blust

Sheila Ann (Rhoades) Blust, 75, of Westerville, OH passed away Friday, August 26, 2022, at Kobacker House after a lengthy illness. She was born October 10, 1946 in Akron, Ohio, grew up in Canal Fulton, Ohio and attended Northwest High School. She subsequently graduated from Ashland Crestview High School before attending Bowling Green University.

She is preceded in death by her mother Irene F. McMullen, step-father Major James M. McMullen, father Glenn G. Rhoades and sister Denise L. Voyik. She was a stay at home mom after working as an accountant prior to raising her two children. The joys of her life were her children and granddaughter whom she loved dearly. Her hobbies were listening to 50's music, reading and gardening and she had a fondness for dogs.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, John F. Blust; son John F. Blust, Jr. (Laura); daughter Amanda E. Blust (Hans Vermaaten); granddaughter Evelyn A. Blust; brother Gary Rhoades (Kay); and several extended family members.

Family and friends may call 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 2022 at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 E. Schrock Rd. Westerville, Ohio where a service will follow at 1:00 p.m.. Rev. Jeff Julien officiating. Interment at Blendon Central Cemetery.
