In Memory of
Louise Marie Stanton
July 16, 1942 - May 24, 2021

Louise Marie "Weese" age 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 24, 2021. She will be deeply missed by those left behind. Louise is preceded in death by her parents George and Marie Morse, and her husband John. She is survivied by her sister Pam Clark, daughter Suzy Gereg, son-in-law Vincent (Bud) Gereg: and grandsons Luke & Nicholas. She loved watching her favorite sports team - The Pittsburgh Steelers with her "terrible towel by her side"! She was one of the kindest, loving, and most genuine people you will meet. She lived her life with such a purpose of acceptance for others. She admired Fred Rogers and truly believed in his quote "Imagine what our real neighborhoods would be like if each of us offered, as a matter of course, just one kind word to another person." A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at the Columbus Colony for Elder Care for their kindness during her stay there. There will be no formal memorial service. To honor her wishes, immediate family will be holding a private gathering in Florida where her husband is at rest. Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the Humane Society of Delaware County https://hsdcohio.org/donate/ or Fred Rogers Center https://www.fredrogerscenter.org/

I am sorry to hear about Weese's passing. John was my best man when my wife and I married in 1978. When they moved to Florida I lost touch but found John and Weser in Bradenton about a year before Johns death. I didn't get to know Weese very well but John could not say enough good things about her. I was able to visit them a few times and saw the love and compassion she had for John. I am sure she will be missed.

Louise was a jewel in God's crown. Always smiling, so very sweet, and a genuinely caring woman. It was a pleasure to spend time with her before we moved to Virginia. I am deeply, deeply sorry to hear this news! Louise will be missed by everyone who knew her.

I have been praying for Louise for a long, long time - for years! I first met her when she was preparing the communion trays for our church. She was such a dear and always sweet and kind. She is resting with the Lord and her family now. God bless her soul and God bless her family in their time of sorrow.

To Louise's loving family...your newspaper writing about Louise was so very accurate. She seemed to me one of the most loving and accepting people I've known at Central College Church, and it seems to me she always rose to the needs and closeness of her women buddies...helping in charitable activities, kitchen duty and much more. Will miss her smile. pat clous (same age as Louise)
