Elena Ternate Dulay

Elena Ternate Dulay passed away unexpectedly, on October 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her father Ernesto Dulay, Sr and her mother Felipa Dulay, as well as the patriarch of her adoptive family Dr. Hermie Villavecer.

Elena was born in Canlubang, Laguna, Philippines on May 29, 1945. She was known to family and friends either as Tita Nene, Tito or Uncle. She worked at Columbus Colony Nursing Home for 17 years, before retiring in 2013.

Elena is survived by her siblings, Celia Dulay, Leticia Tolentino, Norma (Artemio) Ovejera, Danilo (Dulce) Dulay, Ernesto (Yolanda) Dulay, Jr, and Edgardo (Evelyn) Dulay; her relatives from the Dulay, Tolentino, Ovejera, and Ternate families. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews with whom she enjoyed spending her time. She is also survived by her adoptive family, the Villavecer family matriarch Rosalina Villavecer; Cindy (Wally) Tienprasid, and Virgil (Sharon) Villavecer; as well as Anthony (Andrea) Tienprasid and their sons, Enzo and Giovanni.

A visitation celebrating Elenas life will be held at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E Shrock Rd, Westerville, Ohio 43081 on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 4-5 p.m. with a prayer service at 4:30 p.m.

My family and I loved Nene. She was always helping someone. She loved our two year old. She always had a big smile for him. Nene will be greatly missed.
