Sonjarose (Sonnie) M. Shoup, age 72, of Lewis Center, OH, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour on Sat., April 14, 2012. Born to the late Russell & Rose Scheffel, March 26, 1940. She was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High, class of 1958. She and her husband attended Heritage Christian Church and Northside Fellowship Presbyterian Church, held at Feridean Commons Senior Housing; where she also volunteered. She was the sweetest, kindest and most loving wife, mother, and grandmother we could ask for; never complaining and always putting others first. Survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, James M. Shoup; children, Cathy (David) Tyler, Brian, Brenda (Nate) Loman, James C. (Brook); grandchildren, JoAnna, Amanda, Jessica, Clarissa, Kayla, Ever, Carter, and Willow: all of whom lovingly called her “Memaw”; sister Ronetta (Jay) Brouker. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday, April 19, 2012 6-8 p.m. where service will be held 10:30 a.m. April 20, 2012.
