Mary Kathryn “Kay” Romano,. Born June 28, 1922 to Bill and Marie Adams. Resident of South and Central Ohio all her life. Graduated from Oak Hill High School in 1940. Retired from Pennsylvania Railroad in 1985. An avid golfer. Member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Willow Run Golf Course and Columbus Womens Golf Assn. for 31 years. Survived by her children, Gary (Lynn) Romano of Newark, OH and Julia (Russell) Gillis of Monroe, NC; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Mildred (Bill) Philips; sister-in-law, Dorothy Thompson; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years, Philip Romano, grandchildren, Angela and Andrew Romano, and brother, Melvin Adams. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Sunday 2-5 p.m. where Catholic Liturgy of the Word will be held Monday at 10 a.m., Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner of St. Paul Catholic Church, officiating. Entombment Resurrection Cemetery.
