Marjorie Leona (Hanover) Wells age 101. Born September 4, 1923 in her home in Westerville Passed away peacefully April 12,2025 in her apartment at the Village at Westerville.

Marjorie is survived by two daughters, Pamela W (Dennis) Cooper of Westerville, Ohio and Janet L Wells (significant other, Chet Starnes) Ashland, Ohio; grandson, Scott A (Sharon) Cooper of Columbus, Ohio; great-granddaughters, Ellianna and Lydia Cooper. Preceded in death by her father, L. Bertrum Hanover, mother, Ona Kate Hanover, sister Vera Hanover, husband, Ralph W Wells (Happily married 75 yrs.) She married Ralph her Westerville High School sweetheart March 9, 1944. She worked at the Kilgore war plant assembling weapons until Ralph came home from World War II. When daughters began high school Marjorie clerked at Lazarus. She enjoyed being a receptionist at Liberty Presbyterian Church for 23 years. Losing her eyesight she retired in 2010. They both moved in together Aug. 2019 at the Village, enjoying meals, sitting by the fireplace or in rockers outside together until she lost Ralph in Nov. Marjies sense of humor and neverending care for others kept her going. She loved to read (especially devotions), work crossword puzzles, and reminisce to tell good stories. She loved listening to classical music and the talking books. She had a hug for anyone. She had fond memories of family, special friends and church activities.

Internment will be held May 10th at Fancher Cemetery. A memorial service celebrating Marjies life will be held at Liberty Presbyterian Church 7080 Olentangy River Rd. Delaware, OH 43015 Saturday May 17 th at 10a.m. with visiting 1 hour before the service. Pastor Johnathan Seitz, officiating.
