MORAN
James E. Moran rejoined his recently departed bride on Sunday July 14, 2013. He passed peacefully at home attended by family and comforted by a life well spent. A U.S. Marine, Las Vegas Craps Dealer and Insurance Executive, his greatest vocations were as husband, father and friend. He leaves a legacy of caring, good work, sporadic fishing, intrepid singing and love. Born in Highland Park, Illinois on November 11, 1930, he was preceded in death by his parents Herbert & Stella, brothers John and Pat and by his beautiful wife of 53 years, Janet (O’Connor) Moran. He is survived by his six children: Mary Roche of Lakewood, David (Michelle) of Lebanon, Kathy (Bob) Sheehan of Albany, NY, Patti (Keven) Blake of Bay Village, Jim (Nancy) of Metuchen, NJ and Joe (Amy) of Hudson. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren: Nicholas, Katy and Molly Roche, Jonathon and Thomas Moran, Jacob Sheehan, Jack and Maggie Blake and Abby Moran. He will be dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and his caregivers, Katie and Morgan. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Friday July 19th at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 55 East Schrock Road Westerville, OH. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 20th at St. Paul the Apostle Parish, 313 North State Street Westerville, OH. Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner, Celebrant. Private inurnment.
