WHITE
Gertrude E. White, 82, of Tunkhannock died Friday morning at the Golden Living Center in Tunkhannock, PA. Born in McElhatten, PA on May 13, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Robert L. and Olive Peters Bufford. Prior to retirement she was a machine operator for Ampex. Preceded in death by her husband Walter White, Sr.
She is survived by sons; Walter Jr. and wife Luann of Centerburg, OH, Enos of Susquehanna, PA, Val and wife Lisa of Kissimmee, FLA and Charles and wife Deirbre of Tunkhannock, PA as well as 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the JOHNSON-MELICK-MORELAND FUNERAL HOME 49 West Church Street Centerburg, 6-8 p.m. Tuesday May 17, 2011. Graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday May 18, 2011 at Eastview Cemetery in Centerburg. Roger Crego, Minister.
