Carol was a very intelligent, fun, loving, kind, and beautiful person inside and out. She had a gift to talk to anyone that came across her path. She would light up a room when walking in and knew no strangers when walking out. Carol was loved by many for her honesty and her stubbornnes which was just a couple of her best traits and she was very easy to let into your heart. She was not only an amazing mother to her biological children but to any child that
came through her door. She was the "neighborhood mom". Carol was always there for anyone who needed her help. She was a gift and a treasure that we will forever hold close to our hearts. She left us wonderful memories and her love is still our guide, and although we cannot see her, we will always know she is by our side.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. On Monday, December 2nd at Moreland Funeral Home, 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081. A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 3rd at the Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 5600 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43213.

Jeffrey Palestrant - Nov 27, 2024
Carol was a big part of my life. I am a recovering alcoholic, I will have 4 years sober on January 16, 2024. She never gave up on me from the time we met she would always message or call to check on me. She always encouraged me, listened to me. When she lived in Florida we would face time every morning and just talk about life. She was such a a sweet and caring woman. She always had an optimistic look on life and it was infectious. No matter what kind of mood I was in, it was always better after we got off the phone. She helped me stay sober, told me she was proud of me.... She always made sure she stayed up to date with my life and she didn't have to do that. I will always have a special place for her in my heart and I am a better man having known her. I will never forget her and the world is a lesser place without her in it. Love and prayers. Jeffrey.
