Frank Engberg was born in Menominee, Michigan on April 26, 1928. Frank remained fairly active up until his passing, actually shopping at Costcos three weeks ago. Jeff Engberg, his son, and daughter in law, Julie Engberg were able to care for Frank at home, with his remaining children, Linda Pitt, Patty Engberg, and Cindy Woods being eternally grateful. Frank passed away July 10, 2021. After graduating from high school, Frank met and then married his sweetheart,Janet Noel, deceased. Shortly after, they left for Columbus, Ohio and began their journey together. Frank worked for the Ohio Department of Health for over thirty years. After retiring, he became a very successful realtor. He also became a great bridge player, and along with Janet won many tournaments, both becoming master bridge players. As a young man, he enjoyed golf and playing tennis. He became interested in investing in the stock market. While investing kept him entertained it also allowed Frank and Janet to spend their winters in Venice, Florida later in life, where they were able to enjoy the sunshine and play bridge. In addition to all his accomplishments, he had the greatest sense of humor, and would entertain his children, nieces and nephew with magic tricks. In addition to raising his four children, he was also a grandfather to 8, great grandfather to 11, and great great grandfather to one, all but one surviving. A private family funeral service is planned. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to one of the following: The Alzheimers Association,, Kindred Hospice Foundation, org St.Judes,

I knew both Frank and Janet from the Franklin Bridge Club, of which they were longtime members. I was Club Manager and a Board member for almost all their tenure as members. Both good bridge players, and friendly people. It was a pleasure to know them. My condolences to the family.
