John M. Perfect
January 13, 1938 - March 6, 2021

Wednesday, March 10th at 11 am at Church of the Messiah

John M. Perfect, age 83, passed away on March 6, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a fall at his residence. John was a lifelong resident of Westerville. John worked 30 years as a Salesman for many different toy companies to include Mattel and Hasbro. He graduated from Westerville High School in 1956. John was an avid sports fan especially of his beloved Buckeyes. John was preceded in death by his father and mother, Merle and Louis Perfect and his daughter, Sheila Cooper (Carl) of Sunbury, who passed away from cancer in 2007. John is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jerri and his son, Kevin Perfect (Tara) who lives in Blacklick, Ohio. John has three grandchildren, Cody Cooper (Ashleigh Glass) of Flat Rock Michigan, Meghan Frankowski (James) of Lakeland, Florida and Kaitlin Duncan (Derek) of Obetz, Ohio. John was a member of the Old Buzzards Club of Westerville and a member of the Church of Messiah in Westerville. A memorial service will be held at the Church of Messiah 51 N. State Street, Westerville OH 43081 on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Capital Area Humane Society.

We are happy our paths crossed in Minerva Park and appreciate those years when you and John looked after our daughter, who purchased her first home across the shared driveway. Those were such fun times for all of us. We cherish those moments and he is in our prayers.
