William Joseph Kelley, age 84, of Westerville Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on January 26, 2021. William (Bill) was born on October 15 th , 1936 in Columbus, Ohio. After graduating from St. James the Less, he joined the Army and then went on to become a General Electric (GE) repair man where he eventually retired after 35 loyal years of service. Bills happiness could always be seen as he tended to his farm and cared for many animals throughout the years. He enjoyed card club, traveling in his RV and dancing in his square-dancing clubs, Square Wheels and Friendly Ties. He loved to ride his bike and tell stories. He never met a stranger and if you got to talking to him you would likely find out that he serviced your appliances at some point. He was a loving and devoted husband to his wife Glennis (Whitt) Kelley. He was such an amazing and wonderful father to his daughter Theresa (Kelley) Dronsfield and son in law Todd Dronsfield and a kind and caring Stepfather to Kim and Nii Nai Bossman and Kevin Whitt. He was a loyal and loving grandpa to his grandchildren; Sean Kelley, Brent and Ryan Morris, Morgan (Manny) Garay, Jordan and Jayden Bossman, Tiffany (Chris) Hanna, Ashley Tomlinson, and Jack Tomlinson. He is also survived by his sister Alice Kelley as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Helen (Fitzpatrick) Kelley as well as his loving wife of 44 years, Patricia (Taylor) Kelley. He was also preceded in death by his son, Louis Kelley, his brothers Stephen Kelley and Robert Kelley and his sister Helen (Kelley) Krebs.Friends and family may call Thursday, 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at Moreland Funeral Home. Wow!! What a great gardener! Bill and his wife would always have the best garden on the block!We enjoyed having him as a neighbor. Our sympathy to all his family. He will be missed!
