In Memory of
James Andrew Myers, Jr.
July 2, 1941 - January 19, 2021

Visitation:
Friday, January 22nd from 12 - 2 pm at Moreland Funeral Home

Interment:
Northlawn Memory Gardens

James Andrew Myers, Jr. of Westerville was a smart, kind-hearted, incredibly generous and loving Husband, Father and friend. He married the love of his life and immediately became a father, in every sense of the word, to her two sons. A friend to anyone he met, his caring and considerate nature made Jim ready to help his family and friends in any way. A graduate of Linden McKinley High School (1959), he played sports and made life-long friends. Jim served in the U.S. Army Reserves and worked for Ohio Bell Telephone (later Ameritech) as a Central Office Technician. Upon retirement from Ameritech after 25 years, he worked for ICG for 10 more years before entering full retirement. In his younger days he enjoyed golf, coaching his sons little league teams and his daughters softball teams. A tremendous card-player, he enjoyed just about any card game and excelled at bridge and poker. All who knew him knew that the time spent with family, including his wifes twin sister who resided with the family for many years and who was instrumental in Jim (and Beths) care during the last few years, was his greatest joy and that he expressed that joy with loving devotion and enthusiasm, always. Jim is preceded in death by his parents, James A. Myers, Sr. and Marjorie Idabell Myers and his dearly beloved wife of 55 years, Elizabeth Wray Myers. He is survived by his children Kelly (Tarra) Feasel, Patrick (Terri) Myers and May (Doug) Pennington, grandchildren Sheely (Lindsay Kelly) Crawford, Molly (Chris) Bivens, Maxwell Myers, Mackenzie Feasel, Abigail Feasel, two great-granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held Friday fom 12 - 2 pm at Moreland Funeral Home 55 East Schrock Road, Westerville, OH 43081. A private interment will be held at Northlawn Memory Gardens.
