In Memory of
Linda June Mitchell
September 30, 1946 - January 14, 2019

Service:
Saturday, January 26th at 10:00 a.m. at Berlin Presbyterian Church

Though our hearts are heavy to announce the passing of our mother, Linda June Mitchell on January 14, 2019, there is also much joy in knowing she made the journey to heaven with her two children, son-in-law and three grand daughters right by her side - holding her hands until her very last breath here on earth. Linda was born in Orrville, Ohio. She attended The Ohio State University, receiving her bachelors degree in Physical Therapy. Upon graduation, Linda married, worked as a physical therapist at various facilities and settled in Westerville for the last 34 years. Lindas smile could light up a room and she always greeted everyone with a level of joy and excitement that few people exhibit. She led a Christ-centered life and was a great example to those who knew her of how to love well. She was a wonderful listener, as kind as can be, had the patience of a saint and was as humble as anyone youll ever cross paths with. Linda lived for the times she was able to watch her beautiful granddaughters dance. She was also an avid Buckeye fan, enjoyed spending time with cherished friends, attending Northchurch, watching the Hallmark channel, trips to Hilton Head and all things Disney. But time with her family is what she treasured most. Often at family gatherings, one could catch a glimpse of Linda just surveying the room, admiring her family members with such a peaceful and content smile. She merely needed them to be present to fill her heart with joy. Mom, thank you for all the love and joy you brought to our lives. You are such a blessing and you will be missed. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Rita (June) Saurers. Survived by children Susan (Doug) Vance and Shawn (Aimee High) Mitchell; granddaughters MacKenzie, Aubrey and Melaina Vance. Dwight (Lyn) Mitchell; special friend, loved like family Karen (Nick) DEramo and their children Jacob and Emily. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Berlin Presbyterian Church 5175 South Old Sate Rd, Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. The family welcomes guests to attend a reception immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Open Table Food Pantry at Grace Point Community Church 2393 Peachblow Rd. Lewis Center, Ohio 43035. (Please make checks payable to Grace Point Community Church and write Open Table on memo line) or to the Make a Wish Foundation.

I worked with Linda for many years at St. Ann's Home Care. After she retired we had lunches together and many times I visited her at home. She was exactly as you described her. She was the sweetest, caring and most soft spoken person I ever met. I hope all of your memories will get your family through these very tough times. I will remember Linda forever. We called her "Saint Linda" when I worked with Linda at St. Ann's Hospital Home Health, and the name fit her perfectly-always a kind word and smile for patients and co-workers. I was priviledged to have her as a mentor and later as a friend. She was a blessing to everyone she met. My deepest sympathy to all of you-Susan, Shawn, and families. Although I'm unable to be at the service today, please know my heart and thoughts are with you, and I'm wishing you comfort and peace. Cheryl
