I want to say how much I enjoyed your mother. In fact, my husband, Bryan, had a chance to meet her as well and thought she was a remarkable woman. I admired her as a teacher and have such fond memories of her since childhood. She was always gracious, open and interesting. Even after we moved to Malta five years ago, she would email me from time to time to simply chat or tell me family news. I will miss her and feel blessed to have known her over the years. We wish that we could be at the memorial. In fact, I know that all of my family (Larry, Steve, Melinda, Mom, and Dad) feel the same. We are sorry that we cannot attend. Please know that Ruthann was very dear to us.
