Leonard Franklin Holstein Sr., age 83, of Westerville, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2018. Born February 6, 1935 in Boone County, WV.

He was a member of the Westerville Free Will Baptist Church for many years. In his later years, he attended Gahanna Free Will Baptist Church.

Leonard is preceded in death by his wife, Roberta (Castle); parents, Holbert and Dollie Holstein; sister-in-law Wilma Holstein (Tuckwin); and son-in-laws Emory "Bossy" Underwood; and Jim Lenegar; nephew Jimmy Holstein. He is survived by his children, Drema Holstein-Lenegar of Westerville; Debra Underwood of Nashville, TN; Cindy Whitt (Tony) of Inez, KY; and Leonard Holstein Jr. (Kim) of Johnstown, brother, James Holstein; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren; nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

Special thanks to the wonderful team of nurses and staff at The Woodlands of Columbus and Capital City Hospice.

Family will receive friends from 4 - 7 PM on Thursday, November 1, 2018 at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 East Schrock Rd., Westerville, OH where services will be held at 11 AM on Friday with Pastor Mike Sammons officiating. Interment Northlawn Memory Gardens.
