Florence Helena (Nikoloff) Aylor, of Westerville, peacefully departed on her final journey September 13, 2018, after attaining 88 years of a life which she lived with heart, courage, humor & love. Born to Raymond (Rampo) & Sue (Yope) Nikoloff on February 19, 1930 in Campbell, Ohio she was one of six siblings, attended Struthers High School & continued on to hold positions in sales, management & retail. She married Robert in 1966, with whom she greatly enjoyed travel, fishing, gardening & engaging with their close knit band of friends. She had clarity of mind & a honed sense of humor that never faded, along with an astounding memory for trivia, old school country music, the Gaithers, bowling, bridge, Jeapardy, crafting & bazaars, using her I-Pad--all gave her respite, but her time with cherished friends & family gave her the greatest joy & deepest comfort. A staunch advocate for all animals, she was never without an animal companion, supported animal charities & rescues, but especially emphathized with & feared our wolves. She leaves her step-daughter, Pamela (Aylor) Paliwoda & her husband, Jim of Goodyear, AZ; grandson, Brad Paliwoda of Columbus; her baby sister, Jean (Nikoloff) Cooksey; nephews, Raymond Landry & Joe Burgmyer, Jr., all of Struthers, OH; nieces, Karen (Cooksey) Landry of Worthington & Joanne Burgmyer of Youngstown; along with numerous great-nieces & great-nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, Robert; her sister, Marie Leonard; brothers, Joe Burgmyer, Sr. George & Nick Nikoloff; as well as many beloved friends, whom she deeply missed. Visitation will be held at MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Wednesday from 10-11 AM, with a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m.. An informal reception following. Abundant thanks and love to Mt. Carmel Hospice who provided selfless physical & spiritual care for Florence & her family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mt. Florence was a dear family friend, actually seemed more like a member of our family. She was one of my Mother's closest friends. They shared many hours on the phone together or at the bridge table. Florence had a wonderful sense of humor and was very lovin, kind and generous. She will greatly missed by her family and friends. She has been reunited with her husband Bob as well as other members of her family and friends. Heaven will certainly embrace her. God bless you on your journey dear friend.
