Edmond Lawrence Conard, 55, of Westerville, OH passed away suddenly on August 9, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace E. and Dorothy (MIles) Conard. Ed was a 1981 graduate of Westerville South High School and a 1985 graduate of Otterbein University. He was employed for 15 years at YRC Freight, where he served as Exhibit Manager. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Janice (Mack) Conard; daughters, Hilary (Ryan Josselyn) of Columbus, OH and Gabrielle of Westerville, OH; son, Evan (Brooklyn), of Fairfax, Virginia; OH; brother, William T. Conard, II (Anahi Ortiz) of New Albany, OH; sister-in-law, LeAnn Unverzagt, of Westerville, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ed filled many roles in his all too brief time among us - dutiful son, faithful brother, loving husband, proud father and loyal friend. He was a rabid fan of his favorite teams, including the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. Although his life was too short, it was one full of love, and he leaves behind countless wonderful memories to comfort his grieving family and friends. His humor and passion brought light to all who knew him, and his sudden parting has left us poorer in hope yet richer in joy at having had him in our lives. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where Liturgy of the Word service will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Fr. David E. Gwinner, presiding. Interment Riverside Cemetery.
