Robert Irvin Yeoman
October 3, 1939 - May 14, 2018

Robert Irvin Yeoman, age 78, passed away May 14, 2018 at OSU Hospital. A 1957 graduate of New Holland High School and a 1965 graduate of Ohio State University. He started his career at Price Waterhouse and then moved to Plaskolite before going to work at Worthington Industries under John McConnel. His dream was to start his own business. In 1985, at age he 40 he realized that dream, having aquired a business which is known today as Automotive Distributors Inc.. He was a member of the Buckeye Lake Yacht Club, board member of Roush Honda and a member of the Presidents Club at The Ohio State University. He enjoyed playing golf, boating, watching football, basketball and The Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grandchildren who were were his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by parents Irvin and Agnes Yeoman and brother Roger Yeoman. Bob is survived by wife Sandy Yeoman; children Ryan (Kelly) Yeoman, Amy (Tom) Wilcox, Allie (Steve) Hambel and Angie Goss. Grandchildren Jack and Nate Yeoman; Colton and Chase Hambel; Cody, Autumn and Taylor Underwood; Brittany Spangler and Braden Wilcox. Sister Beverly (Dick) Clapp; sister-in-law Janet Yeoman and several nieces, nephews and friends. Friends may call at Genoa Baptist Church 7562 Lewis Center Rd. Westerville, on Friday May 18 from 4-7 p.m. where service will be Saturday May 19 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Frank Carl officiating. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Buckeye Lake Region Community Foundation ( to be directed toward the LEGAL FUND, so that this important work can continue. You may also mail a check to the Foundation at P.O. Box 2030, Buckeye Lake, Ohio 43008, please include LEGAL FUND in the memo line.
