Linda Jean (Plummer) Pinkston, age 69, wife, mother and Mawmaw extraordinaire, passed away June 26th peacefully and comfortably at home with her family by her side. Born November 14, 1947 to Charles and Dorothy Mae (Coffman) Plummer. She was a graduate of Columbus South, class of 1965. A beautician in her early adult years, her talent, infectious personality and love for laughter made her many life long friends. A talented craft loving woman, her ideas and creations were used for fund raisers, school functions and general overall pleasure. She was nationally sought out for her personalized wedding garters. (If you have one with a tiny blue bow in the back, you have an original!). Other distinctions such as "Employee of the Year" came with her work ethic but her most cherished accomplishment was her family. She showered our family with attentive love, pure spunk, laughter and kindness. She was our matriarch and will forever be loved and missed. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles E. II. She is survived by her husband of nearly 49 years, Donald A. Pinkston, Sr.; daughter, Kelli A. (John) West; son, Donald A. Jr. (Teresa); granddaughters, Madison Nichole, MacKenzie Anne, Jarris Ann and grandson, John Austin; sister, Sandra Kay (Scott) Walden; many nieces and nephews. A special and sincere thank you to Andrea Johnson, Alice Bell and Crystal Gough for their tender and loving care. Friends may call at the MORELAND FUNERAL HOME, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Saturday 6-8 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 8 p.m., Pastor Wayne Booth, officiating.
